Our Sim takes place in the 24th century. The current year is 2379.
The Federation has just been invaded by the Romulan Star Empire who decided to throw their remaining military might at the only other power left in the Alpha Quadrant. The Federation was caught desperately unawares by such a bold move and is scrambling to recover from the initial assault. Thousands of StarFleet personal are now stranded behind enemy lines clinging to hope that the Federation can mount a counter offensive quickly enough to take the fight back to the Romulans.
